Mike Vick’s going to the Eagles.
When I went to training camp a couple weeks ago, there was absolutely no way — NO WAY I would’ve guessed this. Not a one. What this means as far as Donovan, where Vick will play, and how he’ll fit in, I don’t know. But the intrigue factor is high.
Given all the losses on defense, I guess the Eagles’ plan is to play basketball every game.
I can’t wait to see what happens when them fools from PETA try to roll up on the Linc with that nonsense. They might show up a little bit, but let Vick score a couple long touchdowns and really get embraced by the fans. You think Santa Claus caught it? Mannnn…

Football fans don’t care. I’m happy he’s back in the league, happy he’s on a team I don’t mind rooting for. He woulda made a helluva Charger, though.
I believe Michael Vick’s story will have the effect of reducing dog fighting among wannabees, but there needs to be serious restrictions on breeding pit bulls and other fighting dogs if you want to get to the essence of the matter.
I also believe a certain segment of society is in a mood to protest. I see some stark similarities between these protesters and the healthcare reform protesters. Is there a common thread?
