No thoughts to share or are you respectfully biting your tounge?
Not asking because Ave is the “Black Blogger” and therefore is contractually/culturally obligated to comment or I haven’t been hearing enough about it, but because of your age and passion for music.
Michael’s death has been on everyone’s mind, pro or con, willinglly or by media force and it is unlike you not to speak your mind, so “What’s up with that?”.
“Ode to Billy Joe” by Lou Donaldson? Is this a cover of the Bobbie Gentry cut or something completely different. I love the Gentry version – in fact I have it on wax. Guess I need to hunt around for the specifics on the Donaldson cut.
