Since the ‘Boys have self-destructed and I’m done finding the humor in my hometown Lions, I’ll defer the rest of this season’s NFL talk for people who actually care about what’s gonna happen. But I will at least chime in about the decline of Pammy O. Then again, I was never on the wagon for her anyway…so I guess you can add that to the topics about which I’ll stay voiceless. Give me Lisa Salters or Sage Steele any day of the week.

Re: Pam’s ‘do, I hear ya. Pam has a FAUX HEAD, however there are plenty of cuts that would flatter her. But you know, Rupert Murdoch likes em blonde and long haired, so you know a black woman has to at least wear long hair, We should be happy she doesn’t have to wear yellow hair.

Pam’s had staying power. It helped her that she came up with FOX Sports right when they first got NFL football, and it helped FOX that the Cowboys got hot in that era, too. The connection there is Big Nate Newton, who was a freshman with Pam in 80. I think she got in with America’s Team, and even today, she’s on Fox’s #1 Team with Aikman.

see, bb, i wasn’t gonna take it there, but that’s EXACTLY why i ride hard for pam oliver. i seent that joint, i was like…WHOA. all’a that notwithstanding, i just wish she’d stop by the beautician once a week or some’n like that. my play sisters been talkin about her for years, but i kept denyin. sunday, i’ze like…that’s just unacceptable. if she was the random jawn who lucked up on tv that week, it would be one thing, but that’s her gig. she gotta tighten it up.

Okay, just so that you know, Pam Oliver is FAMU Class of 84 (brotherbrown is class of 82.) I first saw that woman when she was a nubile 18 year old girl wearing terry cloth shorts so I gotta soft spot in my heart for her.

The Chargers’ biggest problem is the injury bug. They were still in their funk when they played the steelers in the fall, and they are on a payback roll right now, having gotten the broncos and the colts the last two weeks. Pittsburgh might want a tune up before they get the chargers again. Baltimore is at the end of its road. Yes, they have some defense, but Chad Pennington won’t be leading any team to the promised land with that candy arm. Tennessee has a lot more than the Dolphins whose recievers are soft, and in the words of Tina Turner, they like it RUFF!

i really like the eagles’ chances, but i’ve been with this team too long to get totally gassed up. i know they’re capable of ANY kind of showing. if they don’t turn the ball over, i like them to win. or even if they can keep the turnovers to just turnovers and not scoring opportunities. they gotta put points on the board and get stops, though. one or the other alone ain’t gon get it done.
