Having had a couple days to think about it, I think I wanna do organize my list of beauties around the underrated theme. That is, there are certain names that are almost guaranteed to come up in a discussion of all-time beautiful Black women. We all know who they are, and my goal is to kinda stay away from them. Now some of the ladies here might already be on your personal favorites list, but if I have em listed here, that means I don’t think they get as much acclaim as they deserve.
So here we are:

Nona Gaye

I’m not big on lists, but I’m wondering if this particular one would be better characterized as ‘The Prettiest Black Women To Me‘ — or something like that. After all, it’s not like any of us know Sade personally to say with any reliability whether she’s beautiful.

I got a thing for Toni Braxton and Wendy Rachel Robinson.
Wendy Racquel Robinson – the principal from the Steve Harvey show? She’s definitely gonna be on the next iteration. Toni Braxton would’ve been winning, but that bionic job kinda messed it up for me.
Leaving both Nona Gaye and Sade Adu off my list was a major, major gaffe.
