Soooo, I’m not watching the Eagles and the Ravens today. We’ll see what happens when the R*s come on.

UPDATE

!!!!!! So I come home from the grocery store, hoping for the best, and what do I see? Donovan’s been benched?! Looks like I picked the right week to boycott. Nooooo WAY I wanted to see that.

So obviously, Dono’s done in Philly. I certainly don’t think he’s totally washed up, but he’s now at the stage of his career where he’s gonna need good players at the skill positions. Before, he was practically supernatural. He could win with no running game and no receivers. Now? Not so much. So I’ma hafta take the next couple days and figure out what team I think would be the best fit for him. Off the top of my head, I’m thinkin’ Chicago and maybe Kansas City. Obviously, I’m more for the Bears than the Chiefs, but I’m not sure where else he could go.

  1. I have Dallas/SF and Cleveland/Houston in the early games. I’m in Texas on vacation, so I guess it figures. I’ll be biting my nails tonight: Football Sunday Night is in San Diego.

Braylon Edward. Is he a player?

  2. he can be, but he’s really inconsistent. last year, when derek anderson was lookin good, braylon edwards was a big part of his success. this year, when derek was lookin suspect, braylon was a big part of his failure.

  3. Ummm, the McNabb era may be fading away in the city of brotherly love. The good news is that it may be the end for Reid as well.

  4. brotherbrown beat me to it. McNabb got benched today. Wonder if it was permanent…

  5. Well the Giants V Cardinals looks like it may go down to the wire. I like the Giants, think they are the team to beat, but I’d like to see the Cards win this game.

  6. well, hopefully the rest of the NFCE can win today. (but i would like to see the cardinals pull it out.)

  7. You know, I actually covered Kevin Kolb a bit during his high school and college days in Texas. I really don’t know why Philly fans are so eager to see him in the lineup.

I think D Mac has certainly had some dropoff. But, yo, the Iggles really ain’t done much to give him some help. With the exception of, um, T.O.

  8. if there was a football court, i’d be ready to sue andy reid for wasting donovan’s career. for one year, we got to see what he could do with football players around him. players. nah, just one. with a threatening running game and a stud receiver? please. but naw. now, dude’s looking reeeallly old. sheesh!

  9. I don’t know if the Cards can catch the Giants. They’ll need to force a turnover or get a runback, to have a chance to pull even. OH, never mind, Warner threw an INT.

  10. 1st half, both defenses kicked butt. There was not a good reason to pull McNabb in the 2nd half. Not. A. Good. Reason. The replacement showed it was not a good decision.

Reid must go. Right now, I can’t think of a good team McNabb can join.

  11. andy reid done tore his draws wit me. that’s it. some stuff i can tolerate, but that’s about as far as i can go. i might hafta boycott the eagles til they get rid of him.

yeah…last year, there seemed to be loads of places he could go. i’m still pulling for the chi. maybe if jeff garcia don’t think he can go next year, don could go to tampa. i think the smart money’s goin somewhere in the NFCN. he could go to the raiders, but that would be a disaster.
