Yeah. I can definitely see U-God as last. Especially how he flipped out toward the RZA a few years back. But Masta Killa is last for me because, like you, I just never liked his flow. Especially on the uptempo tracks. He would just throw it completely off.

Ghost has been the subject of many heated hip hop arguments in my lil’ crew. Everyone likes him, but its always hard to place in a list like this.

RZA was definitely better at crafting the beats, but his verse on Wu-Gambinos is one of my all time favorites from the crew.

i fools w/ that list. i can definitely see the argument of deck over gza, and historically, i wasn’t really a big ghost dude. it wasn’t until later-later that i started to think he might’ve been better than i was givin him credit for being. as of 36 chambers, he’da been 6th for me. but u-god…he’s always last.

My list would be a bit different. I think Deck is actually number one. GZA was strong, but its usually Deck’s verses that I found myself dropping everything to listen to. Also, I actually think Dirty was underrated as a lyricist and Ghost is somewhat overrated. I like both of course, but Ghost makes up a lot of words (if you want to call them that). RZA had moments, but overall i think 7th is about right. My breakdown would probably be like this….

3. Raekwon
4. Method Man
5. Ol’ Dirty
6. Ghostface
7. RZA
8. U-God
9. Masta Killa
