My homeboy asked me a question I hadn’t thought about. One of the things Obama’s brought to the presidential race is a youth movement. Even though I was a lot more conscious of politics last time around, just by casual observation, I can see that there have been a whole lot more younger people excited, energized, and engaged. If Obama loses, it’s conceivable that that whole voting bloc might be completely turned off. Somehow, I’m not quite as pessimistic about it as my mans ‘nem, but it’s definitely a possibility.

Or else, they just gon’ be like me and the Eagles. Mad, disappointed, frustrated, and swearing off the whole thing…until next time.

But he might win.

The question no pundit, or pollster who only calls land lines and listed #’s can answer is, will under 30’s turn out? Historically, they haven’t.
