<i>"Unless a person stays at the same level of development, their wardrobe is gonna diversify as they get older."</i>

Unless mebbe you're a dyed in the wool preppy type. That wardrobe doesn't change much from teen years onward.

I guess context is still everything. Behave according to context? Are some people just too afraid to step outside their comfort zone?

On prison or thug culture as a means of identifying the sagging pants hustle -- I've read (or possibly heard), that sagging pants does originate with prison culture. Inmates are not allowed belts, which meant that on some of them, the pants would sag. Rumor? I'm not confident it is and I could co-sign on the whole notion as being likely.

I'm fascinated by the local ATL government wanting to ban the fashion stylings of sagging pants. There is one group of people that usually support the style to begin with and that is those who can in some way identify with some aspect of our own hip hop culture, which, isn't so bad.

I wonder if any suicide girl/goth types roam ATL. Will their pasted on rubber pants get the bounce in favor of some GAP pressed Capri pants? Signs point to 'No'. :)

'Preciate your insights (and dug you with Liza and Baratunde on NPR -- which is how I heard of you). Be easy.
