Close to home, Bijan links to an interesting article about Barak Obama and pickup basketball. According to the article, he has a little game (with that assessment coming from people who have a lot of game), and does a little wolfing, all of which sounds good to me. Plus, I like the fact that basketball is a sport that anybody can play, and while he was in Chicago, it seems that, at one point, at least, he did play with just about anybody.

Something I might copy for my kids is this picture from some research at THE Ohio State University illustrating the sexual/romantic connections among the students at one high school. I think what’s so interesting is not necessarily the number of kids who are doing it, but the long line connecting kids. I think that for some of them, it might be a pretty decent wake-up. But we’ll see.
Oh. And speaking of needing a wake-up, ummmm…I ain’t even gon’ talk about it. Just look. I hope to gawd it’s not authentic. Cuz if it is…*shakes my head*
